This covers easthamptonstorage.com. It is written to describe what the website actually does rather than to cover every eventuality.

Who we are

What this website collects

What you type into the contact form. Your name, email address, phone number if you give one, and your message. It is saved in our own database and emailed to the office so somebody can answer you. We do not put it into a marketing list, and nobody gets an automated sequence for having asked a question.

How the site is used. We run our own analytics on our own server rather than a third party's. It records pages viewed, roughly where in the world the visit came from, and what kind of device it was. It sets no cookies, it does not follow you to other websites, and it is not shared with an advertising network. We use it to see which pages are worth keeping.

That is the lot. There is no advertising pixel on this site, no session recording, and no chat widget listening in.

What happens when you reserve or pay

Reserving a unit and managing an account happen on our reservation provider's system, not here. Clicking Reserve takes you to them and they collect whatever they need to take the booking, under their own privacy policy. The same is true of paying rent through the tenant portal. We see your details as your storage operator, in the way any landlord does.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not share it with anybody for their marketing.
• We do not run ad-network tracking on this site.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while they are useful and then they are not. If you want the message you sent us deleted, email hello@easthamptonstorage.com and say so, and we will do it and tell you it is done. Tenant records are a different matter: those we have to keep for as long as the law and the rental agreement require.

Children

This is a website for renting storage. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

If how we handle any of this changes, this page changes with it. If you want to know whether anything has moved since you last read it, email us and ask.
