Indoor or outdoor: the honest split
Indoor, at Freestone Avenue in Portland: an 8 by 20 foot bay on a sealed epoxy floor, inside a keypad-entry building, from $220 a month. This is for a car you care about the condition of, or one that is going to sit for months.
Outdoor, at 265 West High Street in East Hampton: a marked space on the lot that you drive in and park in, from $129 a month for 10 by 15 up to $275 for a 36-foot space, plus an indoor parking spot at $255. This is for a car, truck or trailer that just needs somewhere legal and lit to be while you do not have a driveway for it.
Half the people who search for car storage want the second one and are shown the first. If you are between houses, working away for a season, or clearing a driveway for a build, start with the outdoor space and spend the difference on something else.
What comes with an indoor bay

Before you bring it in for the winter
Full tank with stabiliser, battery on a tender or taken home, tyres to full pressure, washed and dry before a breathable cover goes on. The collector page has the long version, and it applies to any car that will sit more than a month.
Insurance and access
The car stays on your own policy; we do not insure it. Office hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 to 4:30 and Saturday 9 to 2, in on your own code, and 24-hour access on approval for tenants who need it.
