Where and how much

RV and camper storage: ask us, it is not priced online.

We take motorhomes and campers, and we do not list a price for them online: the deep indoor bays are booked as vehicle spaces, the longest of them forty-five feet. Call and we will tell you what is free and what it costs. No deposit, no obligation.

Prices come from our reservation system and refresh every hour. A building shown as fully rented has no space of this kind free today, which is why there is nothing to reserve on it.

How tall, how long

The long bays are the same ones the boats use, 8 to 10 feet wide and up to 45 feet deep, with tall doors. Before you ring, measure your rig: overall length including the hitch and the spare, overall height including the air conditioner and the antenna, and width across the mirrors. Those three numbers are the whole conversation.

Putting it away for the winter

  • Drain and blow out the water lines, antifreeze in the traps, tanks emptied and rinsed. This is the one that costs money if you skip it.
  • Fridge off, door propped, food out. Every mouse in Middlesex County can smell a cracker.
  • Batteries on a tender or home in the basement; solar on the roof does nothing under a roof.
  • Tyres to full pressure and off the sun, which indoors they are anyway.
  • Slides in, awnings in, vents cracked.

Insurance and access

Your RV stays on your own policy. In on your own code, office Monday to Friday 8:30 to 4:30 and Saturday 9 to 2, 24-hour access on approval for the Friday-night departure.

Questions about vehicle storage

Do you store cars, boats and motorcycles?
Yes, at 264 Freestone Ave in Portland, which runs as Portland Auto, Boat and RV Storage. Heated indoor bays for cars, indoor space for boats on trailers up to about forty-five feet, and smaller spaces for motorcycles and personal watercraft. There are also outdoor vehicle spaces in East Hampton and in Portland.
Do you take RVs and campers?
We do, in the deep indoor bays at Freestone Avenue. RV spaces are not listed with a price online, so call and we will tell you what is free and what it costs.
Is a vehicle space the same as a storage unit?
No, and the price is different. A vehicle space is sized and priced for what goes in it, and the vehicle pages on this site quote them separately from the storage units.
